Semester Calendar

Start and End Dates of the Semester

Winter/Spring Semester (January – May 2025)
- Start Date: January 1, 2025
- End Date: May 31, 2025
Summer Semester (June – August 2025)
- Start Date: June 1, 2025
- End Date: August 15, 2025
Fall Semester (August – December 2025)
- Start Date: August 16, 2025
- End Date: December 31, 2025

Note: Lessons will not be held on these dates, and no charges will apply.

Payment Deadline: Payment is due seven (7) days before the first of the month.
Late Fee: A $6.50 late fee will be applied if payment is not received by the 2nd of the month.
Lesson Discontinuation: Clients must provide 30 days’ written notice before discontinuing lessons.
Schedule Adjustments: Clients must finalize their lesson schedule at least 8 days before the start of the month through the Opus1.io client portal.

Lesson Durations
- Private lessons are offered in 30-minute or 60-minute sessions.
Lesson Frequency
- Weekly lessons are the standard scheduling option.
- Bi-monthly lessons may be available in exceptional cases at the Company’s discretion.
Lesson Locations
- In-person lessons: 5882 N. High St., Worthington, OH 43085
- Virtual lessons: Available on a case-by-case basis.

Regular and punctual attendance is required.
Clients who cannot maintain a consistent weekly schedule may lose their reserved lesson time slot.

Cancellation Policy
- 24-hour notice is required for cancellations.
- Cancellations within 24 hours will not be rescheduled or refunded.
- Make-up lessons must be scheduled within 60 days through the Opus1.io client portal.
- Missed make-up lessons cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
- Clients may schedule up to two (2) make-up lessons per month for cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Absentee Policy
- Clients must notify the Company at least 24 hours in advance of cancellations via email, text, or the Opus1.io client portal.
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) are not refundable or reschedulable, except under the make-up lesson allowance.

Student Responsibility: The Student (or Parent/Guardian) must notify the Instructor at least 24 hours in advance of any cancellations via email, text, or phone.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may not be refunded or rescheduled unless the Student uses their make-up lesson allowance.

Instructor Cancellations
- If an instructor must cancel, students will be offered either a rescheduled lesson or a prorated lesson fee for the next billing cycle.
Weather & Unforeseen Closures
- Company reserves the right to reschedule or prorate lessons due to severe weather conditions (e.g., snowstorms, tornadoes, flooding) or other unavoidable events.

The Company does not specify a minimum class size for group lessons.
The Company may offer group classes or ensemble opportunities if enough students express interest.
