We want to ensure you fully understand the terms of your music lesson agreement with the Music Academy of Worthington. Below are some frequently asked questions that clients might overlook in the agreement. Please take a moment to review these points to avoid any misunderstandings.

Lessons that are not canceled at least 24 hours in advance will not be rescheduled or prorated. Unfortunately, there will be no refund or opportunity to make up the lesson.

Yes, you can reschedule or make up a lesson under the following conditions:

  • Up to two make-up lessons per month for cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice.
  • Missed make-up lessons will not be refunded or rescheduled.
  • Make-up lessons must be scheduled within 60 days of the missed lesson through the Opus1.io client portal.

If you miss a scheduled make-up lesson, it will not be refunded or rescheduled. We recommend attending your make-up lessons on time to ensure you do not lose your opportunity.

If you decide to discontinue lessons, you are required to provide 30 days’ notice. If this notice is not provided and payment has already been made, the Company reserves the right to offer credit for future lessons or have the remaining lessons taught without a refund.

The Company requires all payments to be made through recurring payments via credit card or ACH bank transfer.

The Company reserves the right to adjust lesson fees. If any changes occur, you will be notified 60 days in advance.

If the instructor needs to reschedule a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified as early as possible, and an option to reschedule or prorate the lesson fee for the next billing cycle will be provided.

If you cannot maintain a consistent weekly lesson schedule, you may lose your reserved time slot. Inconsistent attendance could result in forfeiting your original lesson time. Clients must update their lesson schedule through the Opus1.io client portal at least eight (8) days before the first of the month.
