Sarah Stevenson is a dedicated flute and piano instructor in the central Ohio area. A Worthington native, Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music and her Master of Music degree from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, both in Flute Performance. Her primary instructors have included Phyllis and Randy Hester (Columbus Symphony), George Pope (Akron Symphony, Solaris Wind Quintet), and Carolyn Totaro (Belmont University).
Sarah has performed in many different wind ensembles, New Music ensembles, chamber groups, and orchestras throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. She is an active freelance performer throughout the Columbus and Pittsburgh areas.
Sarah is an avid fan of musical theatre. She has played in pit orchestras for productions of numerous musicals, including Hello Dolly, Fiddler on the Roof, A Chorus Line, and Beauty and the Beast. She has also performed with Sunbury Performing Arts’ productions of Wonka Jr. and Into the Woods Jr.
