Haydn Veith is a percussionist at The Ohio State University, where he studies with Dr. Susan Powell and Joseph Krygier and pursues studies in music education and percussion performance. Artist Statement

I meet every student where they are so that together, we can get to the heart of what music is really about. By first understanding each learner’s unique journey, I am able to customize my teaching in a way that feels natural, intentional, and personal. This approach creates an environment where students feel safe and seen — and when students feel that way, they are motivated to work hard and grow into the best musicians they can be. My greatest joy as an educator is building that connection, because it is the foundation for everything music has to offer.
