Artist Statement
My hope is not only to create a beautiful tone on the cello, but to nurture a beautiful heart. I share Shinichi Suzuki’s philosophy that “Every Child Can!” Every child is born a musician, and their talent flourishes when nurtured with love and patience. In my studio, students are free to explore the cello, their emotions, and the world around them. I strive to help each student build confidence, feel comfortable with their instrument, and develop a lifelong love of music.
