As a bassist, Aidan Terry has performed with many central Ohio classical ensembles, including the Worthington Chamber Orchestra, the Lima Symphony Orchestra, the Newark Granville Symphony Orchestra, the Westerville Symphony Orchestra, and the Ashland Symphony Orchestra. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Double Bass performance from The Ohio State University in 2016 and completed a Master’s degree in String Pedagogy at the University of Louisville in 2021. In addition to performing, Aidan is also a luthier for The Loft Violin Shop.

Artist Statement

I want my students to have their interest in music and the double bass enthusiastically supported in order to inspire them to be lifelong musicians and learners. It is my goal that regardless of skill level, my students should be able to play their instrument comfortably so that the whole experience remains enjoyable and fulfilling.
