A Note on Noise

Music, by its very nature, involves sound. While we have invested in soundproofing to minimize disruption, you may occasionally hear music emanating from practice rooms or during group lessons. We kindly ask all students and staff to be mindful of noise levels and to respect the focus of others.
To provide a quiet space for studying or waiting between lessons, we have designated a dedicated multipurpose room. This area offers a peaceful environment where students can concentrate on their academic work or simply relax without distraction.
Refreshments
To maintain a clean and healthy learning environment, we kindly request that food and drinks be consumed only in the designated reception area. This allows everyone to enjoy a snack or beverage while keeping our teaching and practice spaces free from spills and crumbs.
Respectful Conduct

We value a respectful and courteous atmosphere at The Music Academy of Worthington. We expect all students and staff to treat each other with kindness and consideration, both during lessons and in shared spaces.
We also emphasize the importance of caring for our instruments and equipment. Please handle all academy property with respect to ensure its continued availability for all students.
Addressing Concerns
We encourage open communication and believe that any issues or concerns should be addressed promptly. If you have any concerns about a teacher or staff member, please don’t hesitate to speak with the academy administration. We are committed to finding constructive solutions and maintaining a positive learning environment for all.
Safety First
The safety of our students, instructors, and visitors is our top priority. We have clearly marked emergency exits throughout the building and have established comprehensive emergency evacuation procedures. In the event of a fire drill or medical emergency, please follow the instructions of our staff.
Supporting Young Learners

For the safety of our youngest students, we require a parent or guardian to remain in the building during their lessons or rehearsals. This allows for close supervision and provides a point of contact in case of any concerns.
While we do not currently offer formal childcare services, parents are welcome to supervise younger siblings in the reception area. We kindly ask that all children be closely monitored to maintain a peaceful and productive learning environment for everyone.
Important Information
To ensure the safety and well-being of your child, we require parents/guardians to provide accurate and up-to-date emergency contact information upon enrollment.
We believe that these policies contribute to a positive and enriching learning experience for all members of our music community.
